Berger Paints India Limited has reported a 13.2% rise in consolidated revenue for the second quarter of fiscal year 2027, reaching Rs 3,200.4 crores compared to Rs 2,827.5 crores in the same period last year.

The company’s financial results, announced on November 6, 2026, also showed a 5.2% increase in consolidated EBITDA, excluding other income, to Rs 370.7 crores. Consolidated net profit grew by the same margin, reaching Rs 217.1 crores.

Strong growth in the industrial, construction chemical, and international business segments drove Berger Paints’ performance. On a standalone basis, revenue from operations increased by 11.9% to Rs 2,750.1 crores, although standalone EBITDA and net profit declined by 4.4% and 7.3%, respectively.

For the half-year ended September 30, 2026, consolidated revenue grew by 12.5% to Rs 6,784.1 crores, with consolidated EBITDA and net profit rising by 11.1% and 19.3%, respectively. Standalone revenue for the period reached Rs 5,976.7 crores, while standalone net profit increased by 13.2% to Rs 532.0 crores.

Abhijit Roy, MD & CEO of Berger Paints India, stated, “We delivered a consistent performance in Q2 which was a seasonally soft quarter in which we achieved a revenue growth of 13.2% on a consolidated basis and 11.9% on a standalone basis for the quarter. For the 6 months ended September’2026 our revenue growth was 12.5% on a consolidated basis and 12.3% on a standalone basis. Operating profit growth was impacted by the sharp rise in raw material costs, the full impact of which was felt in this quarter.”

Roy added, “With no sign of easing the inflationary trend of raw materials, we will implement further rounds of price increases in November and beyond as and when required, in addition to implementing cost efficiency initiatives to ensure stability of our profit margins.”
